Het Grote Iftar Buurtdiner
How well do you know your neighbours?
A special edition of Aan tafel met de buren, brought to you in collaboration with Alien Mag.
How well do you know your neighbours? That question is at the heart of the Buurtiftar, hosted by Alien Mag. Just like every Tuesday at Aan tafel met de buren, Stichting Mano will prepare the meal.
Plein will be a space this evening where we not only break the fast but also have conversations about how we can better look out for each other. Join us to eat, chat, and meet one another.
Tickets
Het Grote Iftar Buurtdiner is open to everyone. You can pay extra to make it more affordable for someone else: a regular ticket costs € 20, a community ticket € 10. Pay what you can!
Tickets are available at the Kiosk on Plein (card payments only).
About Alien Mag
Since 2018, Alien Mag has been working towards a cultural sector where the perspectives of female artists are the norm rather than the exception, using storytelling as their tool. Through events, educational programmes, and their online platform, they create space for the cultural innovators of tomorrow.
About Stichting Mano
For Aan tafel met de buren, we collaborate with Stichting Mano. This foundation encourages Rotterdam residents to participate in society. They provide space to discover and use their talents. Their programmes focus on children, young people, newcomers, refugees, and others who may face extra challenges.
Stichting Mano supports people with language, practical skills, education, and work, and highlights target groups and their main issues through events, campaigns, and the involvement of experts with lived experience.
