Program

Everyone is welcome at Plein between 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM to attend the book presentation. The program starts at 2:30 PM. Abdelkader Benali will talk with Ahmed Aboutaleb. There will be performances by Zang Express and Derek Otte, and you can enjoy Moroccan treats.

Before and after the program, there will be an opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed by Ahmed Aboutaleb.

About the Book

Thuis is Ahmed Aboutaleb’s candid autobiography. Through personal stories and photographs from his private archive, he shows how his experiences have shaped him. Thuis offers an honest and revealing look at his life and career, touching on topics he has not addressed before.

About Ahmed Aboutaleb

Ahmed Aboutaleb is best known as the former mayor of Rotterdam, but did you know he is also passionate about language and poetry? Aboutaleb grew up in Morocco and moved to the Netherlands as a teenager. Through hard work and social engagement, he built an impressive political career, from alderman and state secretary to mayor.
