Language knows no borders. It travels with people, changes along the way and leaves traces wherever it goes. In Mouthfool, artist collective Slavs and Tatars uses humour, wordplay and absurd imagery to show how language migrates: from mouth to mouth, from generation to generation.

Take a seat in Molla’s Reverse Ride
During the opening, Molla’s Reverse Ride takes its first ride. Take a seat backwards in a bright red race car and drive the course. Slavs and Tatars created the installation especially for Fenix, inspired by Molla, the legendary trickster and folk philosopher often depicted riding his donkey backwards.

Dance with Operator Radio
On Plein, DJ Klapsalon and Katayoun from Operator Radio will be on the decks. Expect obscure dancefloor cuts, pop, funk and rare recordings, with plenty of music from the region between the former Berlin Wall and the Great Wall of China.
