A love story from Norway to the Netherlands
“The scale of Fenix reminds me of where I grew up in Norway. It feels limitless.”
More than eight years ago, Asgeir flies from his homeland Norway to participate in the largest multiple-day marching event in the world, the International Four Days Marches in Nijmegen. During the event, he bumps into the love of his life and the rest is history.
In this short film, Asgeir talks about his Norwegian roots and making the Netherlands his home. He also discusses his work during the restoration of the building, where he uncovered and preserved the old installations dating back to the original design of Fenix in the 1920s.
About the building
